2016: Appeared in 33 sets prior to a season-ending injury…Averaged 1.42 kills per set on .205 hitting…Had 18 blocks, four digs and an assist…Opened the year with a season-best nine kills against Idaho on Aug. 26…Hit .800 with four kills on five swings against Villanova on Sept. 10…Had five or more kills in five of her 11 matches played.

2015: MAAC All-Rookie Team…Averaged 1.61 kills per set while hitting .190…Reached double figures in five matches, including a career-high 14 at Iona on Oct. 18…Led the Stags with 98 blocks, ranking seventh in the MAAC overall and second among freshmen with 0.92 blocks per set…Had a hand in eight blocks on three occasions – wins over Marist, Sacred Heart and Siena…Averaged 1.89 kills and 1.22 blocks per frame in the MAAC Championship...Also contributed 34 digs.

High School: Akinola was the leading hitter for the Schaumberg Saxons in Schaumburg, Ill., in 2014, racking up 383 kills during the season. The 2014 MSL Conference Player of the Year totaled over 575 kills in her high school career.
