Biography
2019-20: MAAC All-Academic Team…Played in six tournaments and 14 total rounds…Finished second in a field of 87 golfers at the Lonnie Barton Invitational with a two-round score of 148 (73-75, +5)…Shot an even-par 72 at the final round of the Kiawah Island Classic, her lowest of seven total rounds in the 70s.
2018-19: MAAC All-Academic Team…MAAC Academic Honor Roll…Played in all nine tournaments and 20 rounds…Led the Stags at five events (one tie), including the MAAC Championship…Carded her season-low round of 76 at the SHU Spring Invite.
2017-18: Carded 11 rounds in the 80s, and shot a season-best of 76 at the CCSU Tri Match to top the individual leaderboard at the tournament.
2016-17: Appeared in six tournaments totaling 13 rounds…Closed the spring with a season-best round of 81 to lead the Stags at the MAAC Championship, finishing 24th of 45 golfers.
High School: Team captain...Team placed second in the state tournament in 2013, 2014 and 2015...Received the Coach's Award in 2015 and JV MVP honors in 2012...An Honors student.
Personal: Daughter of Reb and Megan Banas...Has three younger siblings: Reb, Blake and Ryan.
